Janis Champion was born in Cayce, South Carolina.  She and her husband, Ronald Champion, have two children, Ronda and Kevin, and two grandchildren, Madison and Mila, located in Greene County.  Ms. Champion worked in the Greene County School System from 1998 to 2010, serving as a Special Education Paraprofessional and interacting with the children, helping them reach their goals, especially in reading.  She attends Hill Chapel Baptist Church and volunteers to assist with church programs when needed.  Ms. Champion enjoys getting out and meeting with the families, especially as she delivers the packets.  She says, "The children love to see me coming with their packets.  I just love what I do!"  Ms. Champion has a strong faith and says, "I am a Christian and love serving my God.  My passion is helping people especially children and that is why I am grateful to God for leading me to become a part of the Victory Train."  She enjoys listening to music and meeting new people.
