Brenda Stewart was born in Strawberry, South Carolina and attended South Carolina State University, where she graduated with a BS Degree in Office Administration.  She has worked in the Public Housing sector and more recently served as former Executive Director of Greene County Habitat for Humanity.  Ms. Stewart is retired and has volunteered for numerous organizations including the Greensboro Food Pantry, the Springfield Baptist Church Food Drive and Publication Editor for SBC Seniors Bible Study.  Ms. Stewart enjoys walking, biking, planting, sewing, book club and many other activities, and is married to William Stewart (PhD) and they have two daughters and four grandchildren.
