Angel Armstrong was born in Greene County and was raised in White Plains, Georgia.  She and her husband, Jarvis Armstrong, have two children, India and Hailee.  Ms. Armstrong is a graduate of Greene Taliaferro Comprehensive High School and graduate of Athens Technical College, obtaining a Certified Nursing Certificate.  She worked in this field for 10+ years at hospitals and nursing homes in the area. Ms. Armstrong is a member of Second Baptist Church and is involved with several ministries including Youth Leadership Team, choir and ushering.  She volunteers in the community working with the youth and serving as a leader in after school programs.  Ms. Armstrong says, "I enjoy pouring what I have learned through the Word of God into our youth of today.  I enjoy being a Victory Train Delivery Angel, sharing and smiling as we provide learning materials to every child we come in contact with.  Thank you to the Victory Train for having the heart to help in the first learning stage for every child we encounter."
